SITUATION AND GEOGRAPHY
The wilaya of El Bayadh is an integral part of the region covered by steppes and high plateaus, in the south-west of Algeria, and is located at a distance of 600km from the country’s capital. It is bordered by Saida and Tiaret to the north, Laghouat to the east, Ghardaïa and Adrar to the southeast, Sidi Bel Abbes to the west and Naâma and Bechar to the southwest. It covers an area of 71,697 km2 divided into 8 daïras and 22 communes
